it’s bubbling!

Bubbling over!
“Thankfulness is a feeling that starts somewhere down around your toes and bubbles up until it spills over your lips. It fills your brain and you just can’t help letting people know that what they do makes your day.”  ~~ Shaylee in the Gratitude Games play
Shells, flowers, stars – rejoice!

How true it is that,
if we are cheerful and contented,
all nature smiles,
the air seems more balmy,
the sky clearer,
the earth has a brighter green…
the flowers are more fragrant…
and the sun, moon, and stars
all appear more beautiful,
and seem to rejoice with us.
– Orison Swett Marden

I feel we are all islands – in a common sea.
~~ Anne Morrow Lindbergh

In this last picture … we are adrift … islands … and yet, it may be possible in practicing gratitude that we find ways to link ourselves with one another in praise to the Creator.  “This is what binds all people and all creation together — the gratuity of the gift of being.”  ~~ Matthew Fox

I am thankful today for paper, colored pencils, pens, for time to play, for words from others that verbalize simple drawings.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

  1. Abby says:

I am thankful that Colin is feeling better. He is my little snot-nosed monkey and I am thankful for his slimy, snotty kisses while I type this.

  2. Beth says:

Can I get one of those slimy, snotty kisses too? I want one for sure! Give him an extra hug … tell him that Gramma loves him!
